I noticed a noise the other day on the drivers side. took the valve cover off then readjusted the rockers and also inspected them and the push rods. re tightened them and fired the car back up. Noise is still there. it doesnt sound like a ticking noise more like a rubbing of some kind. i put a stethascope to the studs on the rockers and pin pointed the sound to the #3 cyl rocker. could it be the lifter or what help no one else on this board is responding so i thought i would ask here since it is a general question.
