NOS system vs. Supercharger

NOS system vs. Supercharger
Admittedly, I am fairly novice when it comes to performance car tuning. I was weighing the pros and cons of installing either a NOS system or a supercharger on my car. WHich system is more reliable and can last with high performance results

Well, the stock CR is 10.1:1 so IMO running anymore than 6psi of boost is asking for it. Even with only 6psi, you're still taking a chance. Nitrous works better with high compression so I personally think a 75-125 shot would be a better choice than boost. Of course, if you don't mind spending a little more $$ on a rebuild then I'd definitely go with the blower.

Nitrous is alot cheaper for the same amount of power, but a charger is always there when you want that good feeling you get when you punch it, with no bottles to refill.

I'd go Nitrous, cheaper and safer.

I'd go nitrous. The only time you'll use it is the track. We already have too many ponies for the street as it is

NEVER to many ponies for the street!
The purple stuff will really make it go, at least once.

given a chioce (money no object) I would go with a supercharger (actulay Id go turbo, but that wasnt one of your choices)
the reason is simple, its always there. and I dont mean only when you HAMMER the vertical pedal on the right, at speeds above where the boost starts (usualy around 2000 RPM for a centrifugal blower) you will have that added power. this is useful on the street. Passing on the highway for example, you would have a little added power. unlike nitrous which should only be used at WOT and above 3000 RPM (minimum on these cars IMO) if you dont follow these guidelines with Nitrous, then you could end up with a very expensive paperweight.
EDIT: oh, 2 other reasons.
You dont hve to fill it ever
unless you have a convertable, the only out of the way place ot put it is either the spare tire comparment or int he rear hatch wehre the t tops go. I refuse to leave my spare at home, and dont wnat to give up my t top storage space (otherwise I wouldnt have gotten t tops)
