Question Ordered off road y-pipe have ?

I odered the Bassani off road y-pipe today and what to know for those running no cats do you get a strong smell in the car for having no cats or not? Also I would like to hear what some of you think as far as hp gains goes with this setup.

One more question to add as well Im running the borla catback on my car right now as wide open would any of you suggest I use a smaller plate since im losing back pressure by removing the cats?

interesting, where did you order it, because i'm about to order the exact same thing also. I dont think you will get the smell, you only get it if you gut the cats, and you are taking htem off in this case. Let me know if the basani is any good, because i want it!

Running an off-road pipe will cause you to have that rich gas smell. Without cats you don't have anything to help reduce emissions. I don't smell mine inside the car..just outside of it...

I ordered it threw Thunder Racing since they have a special on it right now. What about my borla catback does anyone think i should use a smaller plate after I install this?

yeah you should probably use a smaller plate, since it is going to be LAUD. Now as for the y pipe we have comming, i did some research, and everyone seemed to have problems with it. Fitting, quality, and noise. I'm not taking a chance, so i'm changing my order tomorrow, and just getting 4.10s instead...
