I have have spent about hours with my installer trying to fit every thing I bought as far as stereo in the CC Roadshop bay. So we fit 3 monster 1.0 fared caps upside down to the right of where the spare tire is. It's one hell of a fit but they fit nice. So I go over some construction that I had no idea was there over some real nasty bumps and all of the sudden while my car is at 2,500 rpms my car flashes off, like a nuclear bomb makes everything shut off, that's what happened to my car, Nasty I hear a nasty popping sound and it shut off for 2 seconds. All the lights on the dash came on then the headlights came on all 6 of them (fogs) and the horn beleive it or not cracked and blew up, i mean it dosn't work, hopefully its covered under warranty still, if they don't relate it to that, but anyway I turn the ca off, meaning the key out of the ignition. Then wait, pop the hood look to see that both my 60amp fuses are melted into the plactic thing, but the caps touches the antenna bracket because it left a nasty black mark on the antenna. when the positive end of one of the caps touched it, like some small rodent bit it off. After looking and seeing the interior lights arn't on with the doors open, I'm 13 miles away from home, crap I put the key in the ignition and this time the indicator didn't turn on, the one that tells you the car key is inside. I actually turned the key and the engine turned back on. But all the dome lights where blown along with my stereo. I fixed everything now but anyone else have a nasty story like this? Also how the heck did the horn brake, that's what i wanna know, we checked it at work with a test light and the connectors are receiving voltage but the horns are shot....
