Post Qtec electric cutout owners in here

If you have an LS1 Automatic and have your qtec cutout switch hidden somewhere tell me where! I had mine in my console but I got some carbon fiber dash so I need a place to mount it. I can't put it in the ash tray because when its in park there is a clearance issue, right now I have it sitting under the ashtray and I just leave the tray out.

Mccord owners don't reply because the qtec switch is a lot bigger than the mccord I believe. Thanks!

You don't have to use the big gaudy switch that came with the QTEC, I didn't. I went to a local electronics store and bought a sub-miniature version for about $3. I didn't want the lighted switch anyway and this one is so small you can mount it anywhere. I have mine mounted in that little space next to the popout ashtray but still under the flip-up cover.
