Quick question about Flowmaster mufflers.
Which is the best flowing/sounding muffler? When I install my LT headers I'm just going to put an electric cutout right after the y-pipe then throw a flowmaster right after that. Figured that would be a nice setup.

I already have the dynomouth set up on my car with a 3" Dynomax bullet. I'm getting tired of the sound although my friends love it. I want something a little most subdued for the street but nice. I like the flowmaster sound but how's the hooker aero chamber sound?

I am planning on doing the same set up you described. Hooker LT's and electric cut out. I already have the flowmaster exhaust and I love the way it sounds, but I know it is no where near the best flowing exhaust. Which is why I am going to do that set up.. when I want free flowing I will open the cut out.. when I am under normal driving conditions I will close the cut out and just have the good sound from the Flowmaster. Seems like a win/win situation to me..

Exact same set up I have ... Everyone outside the car sez it sounds great ... but inside it drones like crazy, really rather irritating.
I'm going to live with it until I go to duals. I just need to figure out how I'm going set up the duals so I get a mellow to little sound inside the cabin.
Good Luck
