Well..

If you just go by the exterior then it could be a 98+ because of the front clip. But the wheels say 93-97. Also.. is that 154K that I see on the odometer?

Looks like someone did a crappy 98+ body swap, or its been in a bad accident..

Same LS1 gauges, dash, and front end. Like stated above the wheels are a LT1 style.

I am going to go with Phantom on this one, if it is a LS1 it was probably wrecked.Hood doesn't line up with the nose piece. Also notice the gap difference between the hood and 1/4 panels, bigger gap on the right side. Plus it has no camaro emblem on it.Door is slightly darker then rear 1/4 panel. Samething on other side. Most likely got rear ended and also had front damage, in which case it wouldn't be too hard to put on the 98+ front end. The only hard thing to explain is the 98+ dash.

Whatever it is I wouldn't buy it, it has likely been in an accident.

The wheels are actually from a '93-'96....'97 came with the 5 stars...looks like an LT1 car to me, but that hood has some fitment problems big time, so like what was said, its either a crappy job done on a front end conversion or that LS1 had a bad accident....or maybe it was stolen and stripped and they had to throw parts on it to sell it, ie: the poor fitment of the body panels and the wrong wheels.

I'll have to call him up and get the VIN. In the add it does say he has a salvage. But I was wondering that maybe he damage the fenders and bumper cover so he just did the LS1 conversion. Also, there is another car I am looking at in the Southwest forum. He said that it comes with the stock salad shooters....soo....

Heres the add

I'm not seein 146k on the od but maybe its been tampered with? I dno....like I said, the body damage is no big, thats kinda what I'm looking for.

For 9.5k I wouldn't waste my time on it that's for sure. You can find better deals out there that aren't wrecked/questionable.
