Is this really an LS1?

Guys, I had salad shooters on my car for the winter, so if I posted a picture, would you assume I changed the...........
- nose
- hood
- fenders
- interior
...................of an LT1 car, or simply put LT1 wheels onto my LS1 car?!
Based on everything --- the "overall" picture --- an LS1 car with 45,000 miles on it, advertised as a '99, oh, but with '93-'96 salad shooters...................I say it's a '99 LS1 (that's been hit in the front, maybe side as well, hence a nose that doesn't line up, and doors that look sorta mis-matched color-wise ).
I don't know how that price lines up with other LS1's of the same year, etc., but if the car seems in good condition other than it needs some body panel alignment, I'd consider it (but then again, I've driven a couple fix-'er-uppers before I got my Z28!).

Like stated earlier, this car has been in a nice accident do to the lines not lining up. To add to the post above the car has a B&M ripper shifter from what I can tell with a 6spd tranny due to the shift pattern emblem on the center console. I would never buy a sport car especially one with 300+hp that has a salvage title, unless he can prove that it was only flooded, body damage, never. I'd buy it for about $2K and take the motor and tranny out.

Same LS1 gauges, dash, and front end. Like stated above the wheels are a LT1 style.
I am going to go with Phantom on this one, if it is a LS1 it was probably wrecked.Hood doesn't line up with the nose piece. Also notice the gap difference between the hood and 1/4 panels, bigger gap on the right side. Plus it has no camaro emblem on it.Door is slightly darker then rear 1/4 panel. Samething on other side. Most likely got rear ended and also had front damage, in which case it wouldn't be too hard to put on the 98+ front end. The only hard thing to explain is the 98+ dash.
Whatever it is I wouldn't buy it, it has likely been in an accident.

Definately wouldn't waste my time on the car. It had to be a pretty nasty accident for the hood to look so off. It didn't have a nose emblem and I didn't see any fog lights. besides that is kinda high. Especially for one that is questionable.
