Well, today I found out that the rear view mirror lights no longer turn themselves off after I park my 02 Z28. The rear seat light goes out OK . I went ahead and unplugged it for right now since I don't exactly know what controls the lights (timer, sensor, location of control switch...?) Can anyone throw me some tips as to how to fix it?

 

I know ths sounds dumb but did you check the little switches on the mirror???

 

First thing I checked... not the problem...

 

are you still under warranty? if so, i would definately take it in.
little electrical gremlins like this are so annoying its best to deal with it at no cost.. Remember, your time has a value and the 2 hours spent on this issue is probably not worth it..
