one reason would be oiling issues that can make it very easy to spin a bearing

DONT rev cars to redling in N guys.. cmon

I've always revved at people in Neutral, just trying to get a rise out of them. It's not like I'm redlining the engine, but I have probably hit several 4k instant revs. I'm not sitting there holding it at 4k or anything, that would be stupid. But don't tell me you haven't revved! That's how you front somebody!
