which shifter do you guys recommend based on experience or whatever? pro 5.0 or the ripper?

 

also another question.....shouild i keep my 98 ss convertible m6 w/ 70000 miles? its gonna take about $2k to get it running tip top. my payments are just over 300/ month. Or should i sell it and get a 98 or newer z28 with less miles and possible smaller payment?

 

Keep car, go for the pro 5.0. I've had the Hurst, Ripper, and an SLP shifter too, so I can fairly say I like the Pro 5.0 the best.

 

i have the ripper and am going to try the pro 5.0 ..... i had the hurst first and it STANK. the ripper is a GREAT shifter but everyone in town has one and i like to be different so mine might be up for sale soon

 

I have the B&M Ripper, and love it. I've never tried the Pro 5.0 but have heard that its louder than the Ripper. The Ripper is loud enough.

I have the Pro 5.0 with a Lou's Short Stick and this is an awesome combo, IMO... the faster and harder you rip through the gears, the better and better it feels.

 

Keep the rag top and put a Pro5.0 in it. We love ours.
