I have done LT headers ORY ad hypertech, along with some other little mods. When driving the car it smells very rich. Its kinda like driving my buddys Nova. Is this hindering my performance? Any quick ways of fixing his?

You need to get a dyno tune up with LS1 Edit.

Well since you got rid of your cats. Its going to stink.

 

They only real way to tell if it is running rich or not would be to get it on a dyno with a wideband. But you could go the cheaper route and watch the LTrims and O2s during a ATap log. Not quite as accurate, but you will get a rough estimate. And you can buy a MAF-Translator to help and tune the a/f ratio of the car.

Hey I just recently did headers and the works also. I was concerned about running rich so at the time i put in headers I did new o2 sensors and cleaned my maf with electronics cleaner. When I got dynod my af ratio was extremely flat at around 12.8 so I think it helped substantially.
