Post Shifter installation

Hey, i just got a B&m ripper for my m6 and i wanted to know that if i take the insalation boot off of the shifter will it leak heat? and how do u get the e brake handle off?

Dont need to take the e-brake handle off, just pullit all the way up, and work around it,Console will come out. Not so much heat but more noise, its annoying as well. Put it back in, but you dont need all the factory screws back in, 3or 4 will do. Hope this helps!

You dont need to take the e-brake handle off, just pull it as high as u can, the console will come out , just dont rush it.Heat isnt as bad as the road noise you will hear, its bad, put it backin, but u don't need to use all the screws. 3or 4 will do. Hope this helps.
