Hey guys, my car is new, as in not even broken in yet, only 400 miles... Anyways my question is should i wait till the car is broken in to install the gears (4.10s), or shold i just do it now, so i can break the gears in too while breaking in the car...?

 

Not a gear expert, but if you are still breaking the car in, I would think that it would also be a great time to break new gears in also....

Welcome to the board. I say go for it. I am about to install gears in my 93 Camaro. We should get together and go at the same time. Also, we should go up to the Dynolab and get some stock #s on your car so you know where you are starting from once you have it broken in. Just let me know and we will meet up. See ya bro.

Your car felt awesome. Its going to be nice when you can finally get into her and see what all she can do. You need to get some pics up on here so you can show everyone your new toy. I am anxious to put 4.10's in mine also but thought I'd better wait till the warranty was up. Don't want to have any service issues.
