SLP shifter ?

Anyone try one? It looks like a Hurst shifter. But it comes with out the stick and ball. The price is good. $99.95

My wife got one for me for Christmas when they had it on sale. Noticably shorter throws than the stock shifter. I'd say it's just as good as the stock Hurst.

It's not too bad for the money but if you don't mind spending $50-$70 more for a better shifter, look at the B&M or Pro 5.0.

I have an SLP in my 99 Z28,I put it in about 2 months ago and I like it.It's a very good deal for the money and I didn't want to put out the extra cash for a Hurst or B & M.I'm very happy with it.

I have two of them and they work great for me. They feel real similar to the stock Hurst shifter in my budies 2k C5. Not as much noise echo thru the shaft as others since you use the rubber grament stock shaft. Much tighter, shorter throws, just what I wanted. Later>>>>>>

I got one, and I have to say it's definately a huge improvement over the stock one, but it feels flimsy and spongy when you're really rippin through the gears!!!!!! And it definately sucks without a lou's short stick on it, I missed a lot of 2-3 shifts with that long stock stick with the rubber crap thing on it before I put on the LSS!!!!!!!! With the LSS, it shifts great, haven't missed a shift, but like I said, I just feel like i'm gonna break it everytime I shift hard!!!!!!! But it's working good for me, so i'm not gonna shell out almost two bills for a pro 5.0 or ripper when there is nothing wrong with this one, until I have the extra money to throw away. There are lots of other things for the car I can use that cash on!!!!!!!
