Snipertuning? looking for feedback

Re: Snipertuning? looking for feedback
They don't appear to have GM capabilities yet. Personally, I prefer EFILive. But then again, I've never really used anything else. I did however see some screen shots and heard the comments from several users of HPTuners and LS1 Edit, which lead me to believe EFILive is one of the best pieces of software on the market for LS1s...period.

With the GM program, from what I see I can fiddle with my father in law's blown park avenue, my buddy's duramax, my 6.0L silverado, errr you get the point.
Maybe I'm wrong, but read for yourself.

I must have missed it. The only thing I saw was their "Patriot" which seems to be just like any other hand-held tuner based on the description. But, there was no actual picture of the unit - just a computer generated graphic.
This is the section that sounds (to me at least) like the real tuning software isn't ready yet:
We are well on our way developing performance files for General Motors vehicles. As you can see in this picture, we will be applying our "race track" knowledge to our "street release" products. This 2004 Pontiac GTO owned and driven by Spirit of Daytona of Daytona Beach, FL has produced some real impressive dyno numbers and we are eager to see it perform on the track. The race season kicks off this January 2006.
If you want to tune GM cars yourself off of a laptop (instead of some canned tune off a hand-held), I don't know how quick I'd be to go with them even if they do have something out. Basically all I'm saying is, I've been around the tuning sections of several large f-body/LS1 boards and this is the first time I've heard about them. Usually people want a software with a proven customer base (like EFILive, HPTuners, LS1Edit, etc.) and a proven support forum because sometimes things will go wrong. But hey, it's your car...
