Re: spark plugs?

Are you staying N/A? If so, NGK TR55

Are you spraying or boosting now or in the near future? If so, NGK TR6

Those are the only two plugs you will ever need in an LS1

another question...the TR6 that you mentioned for spray would be a colder plug i think, so will it hurt my peformance of everyday driveing with the colder plug

MSD is good, but so are others.

Re: spark plugs?

Dont forget antiseize to put on those plug threads. Think about the plug wires...they are only 6" long if that...the stockers are just fine...if you replace them its more or less just for looks and not for performance. But if they are really old and worn out you may want a new set. MSD's are my pick.

Re: spark plugs?

Are MSD coil packs any good for performance? Or is there something better?

Re: spark plugs?

stock coils are more than adequate for even h/c motors.

i like the taylor spiro-pro wires, less $$ than MSD and are just as good.

Re: spark plugs?

Stick with stock wires unless one of yours is damaged...they work just fine.

Nope, you'll be fine. Mine drives on the street a few times a week with those plugs, and I typically don't spray on the street

Stock coils are perfectly fine. I rarley see those changed for any real reason (outside of if one goes bad)

Stock wires are fine too, but if you want to replace them just to be sure, go for it. I replaced mine at around 45k for the hell of it, since I was doing plugs. That and they matched my engine bay better
