Squeaky SS Springs...

Ever since I picked up my new car about 2 months ago, I have noticed that the springs squeak a little bit. I only really notice it when i shut my door, shut the hatch or when I am waxing it. Has anyone else had this problem?

My rear springs/shocks creak when I am driving, especially when i am driving slowly over speed bumps or something. Does anyone else have this problem or know what is causing it?

Wink

It's not your springs. Stock F-body suspensions are crap. It's either your front sway bar bushings &/or the shock bushings. They either have cracked &/or need to be greased. Once you replace &/or grease them the squeaking should go away....

Is this something thats worth taking it back to the dealer for repair? This is my daily driver and the creak really doesnt bother me, but if it could cause bigger problems then I would get it fixed.

If they just need to be greased no need to take it to the dealer but if they're cracked you really should replace them.

sunset, do you just go out and buy a new car EVERY YEAR??
anyways, about the squeeking, try shooting some wd-40 on all your bushings in the rear of the car. namely the lower control arms.
