Steering wheel for 4th gen?

I ask in LS1 tech becuase I am considering this more of a performance mod. I am fed up with the crappy stock wheel. Just the other day my hand slipped and the car fell off my intended path, lost some time there. I need something perfectly round, high grip, I don't care about the airbag. in fact I don't want one. The only thing I do like is the wheel-mounted radio controls. that is a good setup. But what I am asking, is it easy to remove the stock wheel, without having to tamper with the airbag, and can the controls simply be unplugged? and finally, can someone point me to a site that sells racing wheels for these cars? I'd like to be able to switch between the stock one for daily driving and the racing one for performance driving, but I don't know if that would be easy enough to justify doing so.

I'm pretty sure its easy, just remove the housing for the radio controls on the steering wheel, note that the screws are in the back of the steering wheel, dont know how big it is though. As for a good steering wheel, although on the expensive side, i recommend MOMO.

Here are some:

or you can just go to their web site

http://www.momo.it

Hope that helps.
