Steering wheel vibration?

I don't know if I am used to driving my truck or what, but I drove my car yesterday and noticed the steering wheel vibrating pretty bad when driving down the road.. i used to have a slightly bent rim on the car but changed the rims. So i know it is not the wheels causing this to vibrate. Is this normal?

Lightbulb Simply put - NO.

First off, I'd suggest that you confirm the new rim is straight - and has been balanced w/ the new tire in place.

If so, then I would look at either the possibility that a tire is out of round or bad, or that a rotor is unbalanced.

Best bet - and cheapest - is to visit Discount Tire for assistance.

Good Luck !

Could be a bent tie rod.
