after 2 months now and 2000 very satisfied miles behind my 98 Z28 I would like any ideas on how this cars axle bent. I posted here when I bought this car that it had had a bent rear axle, Fixed under warranty BUT after 2 months of driving this car I have to post this again cause the car is really great and was definatly taken care of, how did this happen, ANYBODY!!! My brother bent his when he slid sideways into a curb. Look for one or two wheels that look newer than the others. Or perhaps even a new set of non-stock wheels. I doubt it would've been bent by the torque load of a stock LS1. The only other possibility would be a factory defect but that's not likely.
