i have a friend who has an ls1 and he asked me today what i thought his stock bottom end would handle. i told him i would find out, but that i thought that there were a lot of forced induction guys who were nearing 500 horse on stock bottom end. in the end i told him he could look at reliably handling 450 rwhp in my opinion. this was the best advise i could give being that im an lt1 guy.

 

Probably around 650 fwhp if you don't go lean or detonate.

I was at 514rwhp through an auto with the stock bottom end and the car never hiccuped.
