Talking Stock Dyno Run

Well got back from my stock dyno numbers and I cant stop smiling . I went with a bunch of guys from the Northwest LS1 forum. I pulled 322.8 RWHP and 333.4 RWTQ BONE STOCK . If i had a way to digitize the papers I would post the Graph.

Bone stock those #s are awsome! I've read some people get 300 stock out of their 00 LS1s. Is you're car M6 or A4?

Awesome numbers! Slap on a Lid and they'll get even better.

Now, are those Numbers to the wheels or flywheel?

Thanks!

I thought the same.

I thought you had to do an equation to get the numbers at the wheels, because you loose power through the Drivetrain. Or did you already do that, or am I an Idiot?

If its dynoed that gives you the numbers at the wheels you have to use an equation to get FWHP from RWHP if you used a RWHP dyno.

The dyno takes the reading at the wheels, it measures how much you are auctually putting to the ground.

Holy cow! I've heard people doing that with stock 01+ cars, but not on earlier models...

Congrats! Sounds like a Wednesday car!

I only (???) got the numbers in my sig...

whoa.
how come the numbers differ so much ? someone with ~322rwhp and another with 309 ?
arent the 98-02 the same engine type ? they should all get oughly the same numbers, right ?

Awesome numbers bro! Grats!

Southpaw,

98-00 came with ls1 intake. 01 & 02 models came with ls6 intake and will dyno about 10 HP more from it. Plus M6 cars dyno a little higher then A4's. And then you can have what they call "factory freaks" that dyno beyond the normal range for that year and trans like dis3as3d. On the other side of the fence you can get a facory "dog" that dynos less then normal.

Generally the 98-00 dyno between between 280-300 so this was definately a factory freak.

01 & 02 models are usually 305-320 stock with the M6's usually 10 horses or so higher then A4's.
