Cool

Thanks for the welcome backs! Yes, I am instantly in love with the LS1/m6 combo! I have a lot to learn about what I have, so I'll be on here reading quite a bit. This car does everything better than my '95! It also has T-tops, unlike the other one........I can't stop going outside just to look at it......this may become a problem

ok so i sold my cold air and my lt4 module on my lt1 so i can sell it and buy an ls1. then my best friend buys a t/a w/6spd and ls1 and talks so much s@$t b/c he is so much faster than me. so he pulls up next to me the other day in 2nd gear (he has borla and stock and i have flowmaster, no cat, k&n, no lt4 module..read sig) and i gave him a run for his money ....in other words he didnt start to gain on me until 6 grand in 2nd and 3rd i lost him b/c i shift alot better than he does. anyway i love ls1's ...bout to buy one ...they are better but not as good as everyone says.

Yeah, really they are as good as everybody says. Its a blast to drive both ls1 and lt1 f-body's but don't kid yourself the ls1 is quite a bit faster.

That's interesting...

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but unless he has changed the settings, he should already be hitting the rev limiter by then.

The good ole' alcohol messing stuff up, eh...?

LS1 or LT1. Doesn't matter to me. Love them both!

what were you thinking getting a pick-up truck?? I don't know how anyone can stand to drive those things. Your Ls1 will get better gas mileage and it will be more comfortable too.

I can understand why someone would want a truck. I have a 2000 Blazer ZR2, and it sure comes in handy during the winter months. However, the best part is pulling out the Z in the springtime. After driving that Blazer, I swear I could just reach my hand out the window and pick up a handful of gravel!
