If a customer is wanting to use their existing LS2 engine block they can deduct $700 from the price, and you can deduct another $175 if you do not need the LS2 timing chain, valley cover, timing cover, or rear cover.
Below are the compression ratios using each piston listed above with factory LS2/LS6 cylinder heads and AFR 225cc cylinder heads. For these numbers, I am assuming a .051" thickness cylinder head gasket and that the piston is coming .007" out of the cylinder.
Diamond -2cc Pistons: 11.97:1 with LS6 heads, 10.91:1 with 225cc heads
Diamond -15cc Pistons: 10.35:1 with LS6 heads, 9.57:1 with 225cc heads
Mahle -12cc Pistons: 10.68:1 with LS6 heads, 9.85:1 with 225cc heads
We have been building quite a few, and we offer them as short-blocks and complete long-blocks. We can set it up as bare or as complete as you prefer. Feel free to e-mail me at trevor@texas-speed.com with any questions or concerns. I will be more than happy to put a complete estimate together to e-mail to you so you know exactly what everything is going to cost shipped to your door.
