Lightbulb To those with leaky windows...

...watch your front speakers, they're bound to go bad.

My driver's door speaker has been distorted for the past few months and I just got around to having a new one installed yesterday.

Anyway, the reason for this thread is that I had a suspicion my speaker was messed up because of my window leak, and I was right. I had the service dept. give me my old speaker back and the paper sticker on it was all wrinkled from saturation and the speaker had water stains all over it. Like I said before, when my windows leak during the rain, the water travels from the back of the weather stripping inside the car on the bottom of the window to the front and then disappears, most likely going into the door panel and all over my speaker.

I'm beginning to wonder if this is just a T-Top problem or are any of you guys with hardtops having this problem too?

I need to find a quick fix for my leaky windows FAST, because I'm not dropping $150 for a speaker and installation again because my window leaked water on it.

If any of you know of a way to fix the window leak, please post it here. I don't want to have to carry paper towels in my car to prevent the water from leaking into my door panel during the rain.
