I may be wrong, but I don't think there is much of a benefit to having a titanium exhaust, except being able to say that you have one. That sure is a Corvette thing if I ever heard one.
Sure, there might be some weight advantage, but at a very high price.
This is probably why there is no LS1 F-body titanium exhaust available (as far as I know, anyway).
Can anyone else correct me if I am wrong?

The Z06 has titanium exhaust but that's the only car I know of that does. Maybe some of the exotic's have titanium exhaust but that's just a guess.
Nobody makes a Ti catback for the F-body...the highest "quality" exhaust you're going to find for an F-body is 304 SS but that's not lightweight or anything like titanium. I'm assuming that a Ti catback would just be way, way too expensive for most people to justify spending a ton of money just to save a little weight.

Yeah, as far as I know, no one makes a titanium exhaust for F-bodies. However, there are a lot of good exhausts out there. Corsa (they make a titanium exhaust for corvette, as I recall) make an exhaust (aluminum, I think) for Camaro. Borla also makes an interesting adjustable system. SLP also has a very popular Loudmouth exhaust. GMMG makes a very nice chambered system that is reputed to be very high quality (but expensive). Happy hunting!

Thank for answer the questions guys.
I appreciate you guys responses and thank you.
I see. There is no Ti exhaust system for f body. But Covette has one, why not f body?
How much it will be? more than $1000 US?
I want Titanium Exhaxust System like Covette has. DAmm..
I hope some company make it in future.

Seriously, it is not worth it. It is more of a status symbol than anything. Like stated before, there are some great systems out there for F-cars.
Get a nice exhaust and then spend the extra money on something that will deliver some real power. Headers, nitrous, good tires, gears, etc.
But, if you want it bad enough, I am sure you can find it somehow...just my advice.

If one exists, it's a waste of $$$ IMO. Get a good stainless steel exhaust system for 1/2 the price of a titanium and be done with it. AFterall, you're just routing spent fumes and a good stainless exhaust can do that as effectively as a titanium one can. Like others mentioned here, the main advantage is that you can say you have one and (maybe) a few pounds. Save the $$$ and put it into other mod's, I say.
Just my $.02,

How much weight difference between Ti and Al
So you guys think that it is wasting money to buy one.
But, is it better that it will increase hp and decrease weight same time. One mod for two benefits except high price.
How much weight difference between normal exhaust and Ti exhaust, complet kit,
Thank you for answering my questions.

dude, everyone already said its dumb to get a ti exhaust for the fact that its lighter. the small amount of weight over a regular exhaust your loseing wont matter one bit unless you put your car on a serious diet loosing all of your comforts as well.

saves you about 41% wieght comparred to stainless steel. read link for more info. Not a bad deal since it is also stronger, lighter, and more corrosion resistant, only prob is that im sure it is very expensive

I might still have access to two titanium catbacks.
They are only 2.75" in diameter. They were made as prototypes to show GM back in late 90's.
One is a dual outlet like a Z, no tips.
The other is a left side/single outlet, like the 98SS 1otl.
Email me if you want me to try to make it happen.
A stock catback is about 50 lbs.
These ti catbacks are about 17 lbs.
They sound a little more aggressive.
You'll never see anyone make an aftermarket ti catback for f-bodies.

well, at the risk of wearing out my lock tumblers, i want a Ti key set for my car.. I love titanium.. I have the T-wires, Ti tye-dyed spokes, axles, and many other parts on my bicycle so why not a little Ti for my car? hehe the keys are a perfect place.. damn key costs $30 already... so at double for a Ti key.. I would get one.. NSX has one..
as for exhaust? Ti excels in its ability to withstand heat.. but it is more brittle.. SS gets weaker over time with heat and will fail.. Aluminized steel is the best all around exhaust metal as it is cheap and lasts a very long time.
