Towing with and Fbody?
I am going to be moving from MI to CA in the next month. I was planning on pulling a small trailer behind my 98Z. What is a good hitch that is very hidden looking? Is there anything special I should knwo about towing with a Z?
Thanks you guys are always great with replies

The Z28 is a decent tow vehicle, with its low CG and live axle. I use mine to tow a motorcyle trailer, with a couple of dirt bikes. I've towed from northern CA down into to Baja Mexico - no problems.
I have a Eyers Class 2 (3500 lbs) hitch on my '94 6-spd. It is very sturdy, however the left exhaust tip needed to be bent down to clear the hitch. The frame rails at the rear of the car are not centered (the right side rail is shifted over to make room for the spare tire). So the hitch clears the right exhaust tip, but not the left.
Go down to your local hitch shops, and have them show you their set-ups, and make sure they fit the car properly before you buy.
