Just got back from the track and got a new best.
13.21@106.7 (no power shifting)
60' 2.16
Iam very happy with this car. Ive only had it for 5 weeks and I know my times will keep dropping with a little more practice.

Thats a good point. I was thinking by just adding some nitto DR's I would be able to pull some 1.90's or maybe some 1.8x's to break into the 12's!
Anyone have thoughts on that???
What rpm would I have to launch @ to get 1.8x's or 1.9x's??
What rpm is safe to launch @ without beating the hell out of the tranny?

Nice times, DRs should get you a sub 2.0 60' and that should put you very close to 12s. At a good track (good prep) you could pull a 1.8x 60' and that should definitely put you into the 12s.
On DRs I would launch somewhere around 3000-3500.

Good times!
Powershift, throw some DR's on, get that 60 ft. down and you'll be very, very close to 12's. Don't worry about blowing the tranny, you're not making enough hp to worry about that. Definitely look into a lid or some sort of intake/lid... then work on getting some sort of a cat-back.
Good Luck!

OK! Went to the track last night and ran....
13.09 @ 107.2
60' 2.06
Very happy with that time, I also ran a 2.04 60' but missed 3rd!
Maybe that could have been the 12.x slip I sooooo badly want.
NEXT TIME!

Nice times, if you go with DR's you may want to consider a T/A cover with stud kit this will add a little beef to your rearend so you don't blow it.
I just went to the track with my DR's for the 1st time, they hook so well it bogged the motor even at 4500 RMP launches. I had some tuning to do as well. But I was able to cut a 1.9 60' time, but on that run I didn't powershift so I only ran a 13.01 and the MPH was broken and said 124MPH

Oh yeah...if you do hit 12's you'll need a drive shaft loop to be track legal. In other words if you are tech'd for 13's and you hit a 12 that will be the end of your night unless you have a loop. But that may be just what you want!

Wouldnt you want to launch closer to 3000 or so.. about where your torque peaks so that you hit the most torque you can... Thats what I would figure... hmmmm.. 1.9's on DR's would be upsetting..
