well dont quote me on this, but im pretty sure they still use o2 simms. as far as the cars making 430+, yes, most of them have more aggressive cams, no doubt about that. and in regards to having to pass emissions, i can understand using shorties for that reason. however, i have heard of more people passing their e-test as long as they are running cats.

For the record I picked up 15 rwhp going from shorties to FLPs ... all other things being equal.

Your's is the first record of this I have heard with such a big horsepower margin. Were the ambient air tempatures similar between the 2 tests, same octane fuel ect?
What other mods did you have done to your car at the time?
