Turn Signal, dumb question:
Hey guys. This happened out of the blue. 37k mi on the car, and now, I click me left turn signal, and it holds. Doesn't blink, just turns on and holds on. If I turn my flashers on, it works fine. Any ideas? Thanks.

There are no dumb questions.. only dumb people asking questions.. LOL.. Just kidding.. guy I used to work for said that to me all the time when I would ask a dumb question.
Check your fuses.. one of them might be blown. And make sure all your other blinkers or lights are working properly. Might just be a blown bulb not allowing for the circuit to break and cut back on so you get a solid light.

Your front or rear bulb is burnt out ( probably the front because it's the hardest to change ), there's two kinds of flashers. One of the flashers operates the turn signals and the other is for the four way flasher, that's why the four way's work and the turn signal doesn't. I hope this helps some.

yep, that happened to me in my '79 GMC. For awhile I just drove around, and everytime I had to make a left turn, I flashed it manually by clicking the lever up and down.
I seriously doubt it's the fuse, becuase you need the fuse to get any power to the light. So I'm sure it is you're bulb, as the other guy said, the lights are double-staged just like your headlights.
