Uh oh I broke something...

Whats this? and where can I get a new one.
I think I might have broke it while taking off the intake...
Half of it is still in the block.

yep yep the oil sender. don't start the car with it broken. it will make a rather large mess

Actually I was going to do an intake swap to a LS6 intake, but the guy I was buying from changed his mind....
soo im doing nothing to it

congrats on making the typical noob mistake when removing an intake

next time make sure that vacuum hose that goes to the brake booster goes over that sensor, and you won't be out $30.

dont worry about it, about 90% of people that take off an LS1/LS6 intake break this for the first time, it is a very common mistake. it is a bitch to put it back on but if you can jack the car up it is easier from uner the car.

How in heck do you change the oil pressure sender that is on top of the motor from under the car. You'd need 5 foot long arms.

It's quite easy actually. Just remove the transmission!
