Underdrive Pulley's

I am thinking of getting UDP's and am leaning towards the March pully set up with the alternator pully. I don't have any kind of big sound system or plan on getting one but my car is a convertible and the power top has a prety signifigant draw. My question is has anyone used this set up and if so are there any problem's I should know about before I make the descision on what set up to get. I don't expect any seat of the pant's gain's but I am running out of stuff to bolt on. I just got the Spohn torque arm and an SSRA and have a good 9" ready to go in. I guess head's and a cam are going to have to be next. Thinking of an F-13 and Dart's.

Underdrive pullies on LS1s are worth around 5-8 rwhp. Good choice.

The F-13s and Dart 225s should work nicely. I made 471/416 rwhp/rwtq with the F-15 and Dart 225s.

i've had the ASP pulley on my Z for about 3 yrs and don't have any problems with it. i think it's a 34% underdrive and doesn't include an alternator pulley.

no problems charging.

although with the surge of my cam, when it drops down to 5-600rpm i can tell a slight dimming of the headlights. but when the idle smooths out its fine.

You could look into getting an overdrive pulley for the alt.
