Upgrading to LS1

i'm fixing to buy a 99 Z M6. i'm gonna have a little bit of money left over for some performance modifications. i want to do all the bolt ons and a cam. i'm thinking about the new highlift FM 14 232/234 .649/.612 112 LSA 3000-7000 RPM. is this a good cam to compete with the MS4 or MS3? this guy here in town is running the MS4 with an A4. i've seen a video where the FM 13 Camaro walks a Camaro with the MS3. it was a close race but the FM pulled him. see i really wanted to go with something different than the TSP but that will perform as well or even better. need some input.

the F14 will be a great cam, been shown time and again.

whether it runs with a similar cam of another company is totally based on setup and supporting mods. i'm sure you realize every car is different.....cam alone isn't what makes a car fast.

just make sure to get all the supporting mods for the cam upgrade.

welcome to the LSx world

And don't figure on spinning it to 7000 without changing the rod bolts first.
But it should pull hard to 6500 all day.
