Valve sizing
Ill be getting some patriot 5.7 perimeter bolt heads in the near future.
I was wondering which valve size would be best in my car.
2.02/1.57 or 2.055/1.60
pro's and cons of each? power differences?
Im on stock cubes/224 cam/full bolt on/m6
thanks a lot

Re: Valve sizing
Come to find out they will mill them or make them any cc chamber I would like for free.
So....Should I have them changed?
What cc? Any milling?
It is a daily driver, I just want the most streetable power I can get out of these heads.
Ill be using stock head gaskets

Re: Valve sizing
I have 2.02 valves in A.S. heads. The one advantage was that I went from a 224 cam to a Futral F13 without having to worring about cleareance that might have been an issue with a 2.05 valve.
The car made good power with the small valves.

Re: Valve sizing
If you want smaller chambers, just get LS6 or 5.3L heads. Why mess with valvetrain geometry when you can get heads cast with smaller chambers and retain factory geometry?
Might want to check out the PRC heads Texas Speed is selling CHEAP.
