I was wondering what u guys actually get on ur cars? I now that city is advertised at 19 but will i really get that? The car will be 6spd

 

I get 21 in the city 25-28 on the highway im still running a little rich from the headers when she was stock and i only drove highway ive seen 30mpg before thats going 75mph

 

OMG tahts better tahn my 99 a4 with a v6 in teh city i get 15.

City lattly i been get'in 19-21ish lowest i have gotten was 17 right after i got the car back in April. thats with a A4. Best Part is i love to tell ppl i got the T/A for Gasmilage i get 12ish with my truck

 

I love it as well i get better mileage than my dad's grand am on the highway best he's seen is 28 cant really **** with the 6th speeds OD

 

I see 16-18.5 (with as low as 14.5) on average for a full-bolt on car with 4.10:1 gears and a six speed in town.

This is a '98 Z28.

I have seen as good as 26 mpg on the highway.

All of the people who claim over 20 in town, I'd like to see them drive because you could probably out accelerate them on a bicyle/ on foot.

BEFORE LS1 Edit I was gettign about 12 MPG around town. @ $2.80/Gal =

Now, 15-18 around town. To hard HW #'s yet...

I highly recomend getting a tune. It free'd up 37 hp and get my gas mileage back!

 

I get around 15 in town and maybe 19-20 highway. '02 SS M6. I don't know how people get such tremendous mileage. I don't see much difference whether I drive easy or in the throttle.

 

Low 18-22 around town, all depending on how I'm driving but I never drive totally easy. Average 27-28 higway. Best of 30 mph doing 85 mph (did get some higher speed action on that tank too).

Unlike BlackT/A's dad, My Wife's GAGT has gotten 32 mpg but averages 27-28 hwy also.

 

stock i was getting great milage. from philly to niagra falls round trip on 3 1/2 tanks. now i get about 6-8mpg city, 10-13 highway

 

Also, isn't something wrong with your car though? I think you trapped really low, is that correct?

22-24 on the highway, how are you guys getting up in the high 20's?

 

Yeah, I have had 2 T/A WS6s, a 2000 and a 2002 and neither has ever gotten better than 26 or so on the highway, but both averaged about 23 with combined in town and highway miles. Sorry, but I am very skeptical of these claims of 28-30.

 

Best mpg on the highway I've had was 32mpg, 6th gear, cruise control at 65mph.
