It's oil change time. What kind do you guys use? I've been using pennzoil 5w30 in my LT1's and standard SBC's for years, but what about this car? I assume you all use synthetic, but what kind? Thanks guys!

Talking

Since at least in my grocery's freezer it is pretty cold, I'd suggest using Mobil 1 5W-30.

If you ever move to warmer climate (maybe the bakery...?) Mobil 1 10W-30 will work, too.

Cool

I started out using Mobil 1 10W30 for the first couple changes, but then switched to Castrol GTX (dino oil) when I decided that 3 times the price for oil every 5,000 kms just seemed retarded. In my experience, I've seen engines torn apart that were run on both synthetics and dino oils, and they all look the same inside.

So Castrol GTX it is for me. AFAIK, it's one of the better dino oils too.

Mobil 1 5w 30. We have Corvette engines, why not use the oil that is recommended for the Corvette?
