Valvoline 5w-30 seems to have served me well for the last umpteen # of cars I've owned and serviced. Most other name brands will serve well also so long as you change the oil at timely increments.

I appreciate the heads up ....

I installed heads, cam and oil pump on my car at 60K. Looked like a friends car who was running M1.

ANY oil you leave in the engine too long will burn up. Like I said, I'm not so much worried about breakdown of the oil as I am the suspended solids floating around inside the motor using my oil as the carrier ...

Get that crap outa there.

Use a less expensive oil and change it more often ...
