Well, considering it says SLP on it...

Maybe it's an SLP lid?

I have no idea, but I did find the pic on the SLP forums.

The reason I asked was because the image for the MTI transparent unit looks more yelloish clear than clear. But if it is that crisp and clear and if it can stay that way, I think that is far better looking than any of the other lids..

I am leaving now for the SLP Customer Appreciation day in Ennis Texas. I am going to do research and to decide on what lid to buy.

If the SLP unit doesnt impress me, I will get the clear one, unless I find out that it gets ugly with time...
Then I will get the carbon fiber look one.

The MTI lid is clear, I bought mine a year ago and its still clear, not yellowish.

It is a hard brittle plastic though (unlike the other lids that have a bit of flex to them), and you may end up cracking it if you constantly are screwing with it. Mine has begun to show cracks on the underside where it meets the MAF. Looks like I clamped it down to hard, or maybe just normal engine vibration or removal during mod installs caused it... not sure.

It looks nice, but I am not so certain I would go with it again. If it does crack and I go looking for a replacement I will probably go for a "carbon-fiber look" one, or better yet, real carbon fiber if its in the same price range and can be found out there somewhere.

I have heard complaints of the clear lids yellowing and getting covered with hairline scratches.
This is just what I have seen a few folks post on LS1 boards though, I don't have one myself.
