For starters:
Lid
Catback
Long Tubes
LS6 Intake
Cam

I would go in that order.

A4 or m6?

If its an A4...a converter..hands down

Great mods for both would be good tires and suspension mods. Power means littel if you can't hook.

Best mod of all is the driver mod. Take time to learn your car and how to maximize what you already have.

the ls1 responds well to both intake and exhaust mods... start with that and go from there... then maybe heads/cam package

Once you get LT's, a lid, and your catback out of the way, start spending on drivetrain mods, such as a 12 bolt or 9" rear and a better differential. 3.73 gears are great too, regardless of tranny. Then a stall for an auto and a better clutch or something for the M6.

Then start saving for your heads/cam swap.

since you're new....

i suggest you go through the first 10 pages of the LS1 forum and read alot. most of what you are asking has been covered over and over. as have alot of beginner mods, and which ones are best.

and while you do that, make a list of things you don't understand....then use the SEARCH function

I would bump the cam off and put a dry kit and a set off svo 42lb injectors in. Those two items were good for knocking 1.3 seconds off my car on a stock tune.

If it's an auto I would hold off on getting a rear end untill your in the bottom 11's. I would get an Auburn Pro and get rid off the zexel pos though.
