what the owners manual says

i have noticed that the camaro 00 z28 says that everything can wait until 100,000 miles before the first tune up except the a4 of course and oil ect..is there any thing that should be done before hand??
my baby stands at 74,000 miles

change the plugs...the plats they use from the factory suck!!

on my past 2 4th gens, at just over 50k miles i changed the plugs. and on BOTH cars 4 of the 8 plugs were missing the platnum puck. making the gap over .080"

stick with the tried and true, inexpensive and effective NGK tr55 plugs...$2 each.

forget about the $8-12 per plug plats or iridium plugs.

but it's not a bad idea to change all the fluids, that way you are reseting the clock and know exactly how old everything is.

radiator, trans, and differential.

It says you can go 150k miles before changing the coolant also, but don't wait that long.
