im lookin for the best H/C package to talk my buddy out of goin with a 4500 dollar S/C.
what are some specs and some prices or personal cars #'s to beat a powerdyne setup.

 

There are LOTS of H/C packages, depends on his goals. To just beat a PD setup that's pretty easy. What year is the car, trans type and current mods? Most H/C packages easily make over 400rwhp for under 3K $$, blowers are OK but they are alot of maintainence compared to H/C setup.....not to mention much cheaper for the HP they make. For me my H/C setup with my N20 system, I spent less than 4500$

 

hes got a 2000 ta m6 hes got !cags!, dynatech ceramic coated LTs, a cutout off each headerbuilt into the ypipe, flowmaster catback, ls1 motorsports air lid, k&n filter, no emissions.
we are lookin at some stage 2 p&p heads, the slp 234/228 cam, hooley intake UD pulley 160stat and a dyno tune right now

 

420+ rwhp no problem with that setup! cost around 2500$ depending on what parts you go with. Get new hardend pushrods and a new timing chain. Take the extra money and get a clutch or rear end to hold the power

never been a fan of slp, but LG motorsports made something like 450 or 460 with an AUTOMATIC with Patroit heads and LGs cam.
