for the $500 or so cost of shorties...look for about 5-7hp NOT worth it!

you're better off working on using the power you have.

as everyone says...converter and gears and traction

i got long tube's and live in Ca, also I agree that the hypertech is crap except for changing gear ratios and fan temp, the program sucks

but not smog legal. also what do you guys recommend on tune, i would like it to be a hand held one just so i can turn if off when need be. i got a chassis dyno place in tracy and he can get like 10-20 percent more power then a hand held but its like 650 to get it done and 3 dyno runs...

If you're going to go handheld then go with a Diablo Sport Predator. You get more for your money as you can program, scan engine sensors, and check and reset engine codes all with one tool.

on an ls1 that would be 30-60hp.....highly unlikely

try 10-20 HP with a dyno tune on boltons
