You refering to lids. Whisper motorsport is a performance company that makes lids (the way you said whisper lid) . I have a lid from whisper motorsport and have no cracking problems and so on. Personaly i think they all perform about the same, find the one you like looks wise and get it. Other brands are SLP, LGmotorsport, directlow, and i think a few others.

I too have chosen the Whisper lid.. mainly because others have fitment issues.
MTI makes a clear lid that looks great but I hear that it may crack since its harder plastic. If you arent going to work much on your car, get it!

The LS1 Motorsports lid aka Direct Flo seems to be hard to initially install and that is a reason for me to NOT get it.

I also want mine to be carbon fiber looking so I will get the whisper carbon fiber looking one.

Thumbs up

I would say get the whisper lid, as cabbage stated. Out of all the lids it is the one that i have never heard any complaints about. Very easy install. I ended up getting the carbon fiber look one from www.thunderracing.com with a K&N. It was 10% off at the time so i thought i would go all out and get the carbon fibre plastic . So get the whisper, you wont be dissapointed.
