I want to see how I need to setup a K&N filter on a LS1. If you have pics, please post.

 

as far as i know, just stop by a local auto parts store, find the right k&N filter for an 1998-up camaro...pop the hood, unlatch the two clips you see right in front of you, remove the filter and place the k&n in its place the way you saw it in there.....

Thanks for the reply, but maybe I was looking for the wrong thing. After doing more research I learned that I really want to replace the MAF housing with a whisper lid. http://www.installuniversity.com helped out a lot with showing how the removal of the MAFH and install of the whisper lid. From the moment I saw the silencer on the stock MAFH I knew that was restricting air flow.

 

dont get a k&n filter.. it doesnt fit perfectly.. get the holley.. its better.
