who has more HP

For all intents and purposes YES, there are just a few minor differences, such as the intake on the Corvette (not manifold, but where the air intake comes in on the car) and the exhaust on the 'Vette is a true dual system whereas the F-bodies use a 2-into-1, but otherwise the camshafts used are the same (although they switched in various years for the 'Vette, and changed from '98-'00 then '01-'02 for the F-bodies). Also, Corvettes use "drive by wire" or something like that instead of an actual throttle cable connected from the gas pedal to the throttle body.....instead I think they have a computer controlled box that pulls the throttle open.
All these little differences aside, you can swap them from one car to another without having to change much at all, and on an engine dyno they will make the same power.

Nope, LS6's are only available in Z06 Vettes, even the regular Vettes can't get them. BTW GM has a LONG history, over 20 years at least, of NEVER putting the most powerful motor they currently make in anything else besides a Vette. It's why the 350's used in F-bodies were detuned as well as detuning the GN's to make sure the Vette was still faster. It's GM's flagship car, so nothing can be faster when produced. After all who would pay 55 grand for a Z06 if you could just buy a 30 grand Firebird just as fast? Thats why they do it the way they do.

LS6 is only available (factory) in Z06 Corvettes.
FWIW though, 2001 + newer LS1's use the intake manifold from the LS6.

A "Firebird" will have a 3.8 liter V6. A Formula, Trans Am, or WS6 will have an LS1

LS6 is rated at 405hp
Be intresting to see if they dyno that way.
I was watching a T.V. show that said the second year the GTO is out they are going to offer a "405hp engine" which leads me to believe they are talking about the LS6.

EDIT: That's some sweet news about the GTO ... Hopefully it will still be somewhat affordable after that too.

2002 Camaro ZL1 phase 1 came with LS6 and Phase 2 came with 475hp LS6
and according to www.LS1.com
Question 6-9: How much horsepower does the LS1 really have?
Answer: GM's 305hp rating is extremely conservative, they didn't want the LS1 f-body to steal any of the Vette's thunder, however it's commonly known that the F-body's LS1 makes pretty much the same 345hp as the Vette's. They generally put out the same hp to the rear wheels.
The fbodys LS1 isnt detuned but its exhaust set up isnt true dual like the vette thats the only real dif.
