You have to buy either a Mustang Bullet or Mitsubishi Eclipse billet door and mod it some to fit.
There are threads on LS1.com about it, with pics, you will have to do a search.

An aluminum fuel door is about as rice as the one used on a Viper GTS or a host of race cars for that matter. Who said that Japanese imports have a monopoly on aftermarket stuff anyways.

I personally like the billet fuel doors and you can modify the one that is used on the Mitsu eclipse.

Go to the"appearence section " forum and do a search on "billet fuel door" and you should get a link to a guy who has a step by step how to modify the eclipe fuel door to a camaro.

I mounted mine differently the he did but sure came out nice anyways.

Those eclipse billet fuel doors sell for around $130 but i bought mine on ebay for around $70

I have seen this before in the Appearance Section, and I cannot understand why the hell would someone want to do this to their car? It is u-g-l-y.

hey! its his car, he can do whatever he wants...

but really I think its rice and a few others here thought so as well. I never even knew anyone had done this and I will not like the way it looks on a camaro..

some people just like weird things.. weird to me may be the norm or extra trick to others..

I don't think it looks to bad Painted. Just don't leave it chrome, as that looks ugly and ricey as hell - IMHO. I know its your car, and mod it as you see fit...

This is Steve's post so I don't want it to turn into a what's rice or not debate, it's like you running Yokohamas on your car. Some might think that's Ho-Chi-Min but like you said " he can do whatever he wants...".

Thats kewl.. and I would also refer you or whomever would think that about Yokohamas to the fact that they are much stickier than the common tires found on Z28s and handle like a dream on both wet and dry. The tire is far from being rice. Kumho, thats rice.. TOYO? Rice... Yokohama? Well they are about as big into racing as Pirelli and Bridgestone!

as for this post.. it should just fade into obscurity since he got his answer.

I have it on my car, and it was easy to put on. Off an Eclipse. Why did I do it?

Because it's my car, and I wanted to. Got a problem with that? Deal with it. Did I mention that it was my car?

I get ALOT of compliments on that one mod.

Thank you all for the information and opinions.

Al it's nice to see you posting.

psychocabbage, you need to leave it alone, you are making a very weak point and embarrasing yourself.
