Who makes these headers? They are stainless according to the seller.

Anyone heard of these guys, or bought any of these LT's?

Thanks!

They responded to my first email, saying they shipped them Fed Ex, and they were stainless. I sent another email, asking who MADE them. They haven't replied yet. If they do, I will post.

They do look VERY nice...the ypipe is similar to the Pacesetter ypipe.

The polished stainless look very nice...too bad it turns yellow from heat...

Yeah they look awesome, I was looking for some headers for a 99 ram with a 5.2L. I assumed it was a guy that does custom headers.

I have a buddy that races mustangs and he makes his own headers. They look just like that and they don't cost him really anything to make, most of that's profit and if it's a guy doin' it outta his garage he's banking on those. I would try 'em out for that price.

The ones for the ram are only $150. I'm gonna get my buddy to buy them.

He just replied to my email, which I said:

"Can you tell me who makes these headers? I have installed a lot of headers, and I don't like fitment issues. Do you ship same day?"

Here is HIS response WORD for WORD:

"WE SHIP WITHIN 24-48 HRS

XSPOWER IS THE BRAND, AND THEY FIT GREAT"

Who is XS Power?

I will have to do some research on that company. I checked his feed back, and it looked like the customers were pretty happy?

Thanks for the link, ect.

It is a guy on LS1 Tech that makes them. Search over there for XS headers. Many people have bought them and are really pleased.

They look good...

But did anyone notice that the Y-pipe is backwards!! And the bracket for the exhaust mount is on the wrong side!

I don't think the "Y" would just flip over and fit the other way..

Just something i noticed..

Well, that is good news to hear. I am glad to know that there are others with these on their LS1. He had good feedback, as far as fitment, ect.

I did notice the bracket on the ypipe looked like it was on the wrong side.
The ypipe looks similar to pacesetter's style. I like the stainless, but it turns a yellow/brown color in just a few days. I would rather have coated.

Thanks for your reply!

They're a sponsor on LS1tech. VERY good header for the price, good fit and finish. I have a set sitting in my garage waiting until I can put them on. I bought them for 500$ shipped. Definiely good stuff.

This is good to know. He had good feed back ratings on his stuff, so people were pleased. Like I said, I would take the plunge, but I want something coated. The extra heat and discolorment I am not interested in.

Thanks for your response on this.

Yes, I know that. But I am not interested in spending an extra $200-300 on coating and $100+ in shipping. I would rather buy coated headers....
and be done with it.

How about a local powdercoater? I live in BFE MI and heck there's a good one 45 miles away. Over by D-town there's many. Maybe there's one local to you who could do the job for a couple of hundred.
