Why are my Passenger side plugs fouling?
I changed my stock plugs to NGK TR55's and when I started my car it sounded like one or two of the cylinders aren't firing all the way. No SES light and when I pulled my plugs everyone of them on the passenger side were covered is soot. The drivers side were nice and clean so I disconnected the coil packs, reconnected them, cleaned the plugs and tried it again and the same thing. You can also smell the unburnt fuel, so I put the stock plugs back in and the same thing but the plugs aren't covered in soot when I checked them. Any ideas? I've got autotap on the way (No one here in the UK can diagnostic LS1's for some reason) will this help me find the cause???

Smell any gas in your oil? I had something like that happen on an 89 Formula I used to have. The computer was flooding both banks intermittently. But the raw gas on the plugs was obvious. One guy that reponded to my thread said he had heard of that happening on 4th gens, but not 3rd.

No, no smell from my oil. Its weird, when I'm WOT doesn't feel like anything is wrong but when I'm idling I can hear a cylinder not firing. Still weird how all my passenger plugs were fouled.
