I know there are 12 bolt rear ends but do I have to get the 12 bolt rear end if I put a 4.10 gear in there? Any info?

 

Nope, just depends on how much power you got. Buddy of mine had slicks, lid, and a 100 shot on his 2001 WS6 and used 4.10's in a stock rear end making luanches of the revlimiter. Plus haven't had a problem with mine. You just need to make sure and use a 3 series carrier for a 10 bolt.

ok that sounded wrong, i said nope to the 12 bolt. You could get a 12 bolt but 4.10's will fit in you 10 bolt.
